About this tour

You’ll travel across the island visiting traditional communities like Povoação Velha, Rabil, Bofareira, João Galego, Fundo das Figueiras and more — each with its own character, landscape and way of life.

Along the way, stop at local farms to see how people grow food on the island, and visit the Environmental Museum in Fundo das Figueiras to learn about Boa Vista’s ecosystems and conservation efforts. Lunch is included — a home-cooked meal in one of the northern villages, with real Cabo Verdean flavors in a warm community setting.
