Excursão ao deserto de Lompoul (Dakar)

At the indicated time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Dakar and head by 4×4 to the Lompoul desert. The road trip will take approximately three hours. We enter the arid landscapes of Senegal!

Although the Lompoul desert is one of the smallest in the world, the excursion is worth it. The golden sand dunes stretch out in front of the Atlantic, creating a place of beauty that all visitors fall in love with.

Aboard the 4×4 we will explore the so-called baobab forest and visit the most interesting points of the desert. We will reveal countless curiosities about these places while focusing on how their fauna and flora adapted to the aridity of these lands.

We will also take a break to satisfy our appetite at a local restaurant. The menu includes a starter, a main course and dessert.

With renewed energy, we will experience a magical moment taking a camel ride at sunset. We’ll climb onto these docile animals to explore the Lompoul desert like a real Bedouin would. You will never forget this experience!

After a tour of between 12 and 2 pm, we will end the tour by dropping you off at your hotel.
